XERJOFF BLENDS is an experimental and experiential concept that creates multi-sensory experiences. The first multi-sensory interactions between perfume and music come together in an unexpected and uniquely modern way. Merging the dark and gothic notes of scent, sound and design into a unified perception XERJOFF's Sergio Momo and hard rock's most enduring icon, BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi, have captured the evocation of emotions in a tailor-made cocktail.

SCENT OF DARK
The different aspects of this multi-sensory experience led to the musical visualization of 'SCENT OF DARK', developed in Iommi's home studio with producer Mike Exeter, and recorded at Gospel Oak and Pig Music Studios.
"I had the riff for 'SCENT OF DARK' for a while and I had never done anything with it. It gave us a base to go from." Tony explains, “We built up the track with programmed drums and then Mike Exeter demonstrated bass and keyboards on it and I added my guitar solos just to give us an idea of what it was going to sound like.
Finally Jimmy (Crutchley) added his bass. Jimmy knew drummer Ash Sheehan and he fit in perfectly. He added the last real drum track on top of our work. Then we added the strings. I had worked with string sections on Sabbath albums before, but this was a whole new experience.”
