CASAMORATI

Casamorati is an Italian perfume house with a rich heritage dating back to the 19th century, when Claudio Casamorati founded the C. Casamorati Perfume Factory in Bologna. His vision was clear: to create refined, artistic perfumes that unite craftsmanship, nature and elegance.

The Origins of Casamorati
On 17 April 1888, Claudio Casamorati officially registered the trademark featuring the iconic double "C" logo, making his perfumes and soaps instantly recognisable. The emblem quickly became a symbol of luxury, quality and Italian refinement, helping the house gain international recognition.

Among Casamorati's admirers was Queen Margherita of Savoy, the first Queen of Italy. During the Grande Esposizione Emiliana in Bologna in 1888, she met Claudio Casamorati personally. As a gesture of appreciation, she presented him with a golden brooch and declared that she could not begin her morning without his perfumes.

From Golden Age to Rebirth
Casamorati enjoyed a period of great success until the early 20th century, after which financial challenges eventually led to the house ceasing operations around the middle of the century. For more than six decades, Casamorati perfumes disappeared from the market, until Xerjoff acquired the rights in 2009 and revived the brand.

With this relaunch, both the original bottle design and the historic double "C" logo were preserved, ensuring that the authentic soul and heritage of Casamorati remained intact.

Wonderful Bologna
In your summer wishing
Like bouquets corona
With no color missing
Love songs for flowers
In the breezy wind blow
Your nearness empowers
On city streets glow

A Tribute to Italian Craftsmanship
Modern Casamorati perfumes carry the same timeless charm, refinement and artistic soul as their historical predecessors. Inspired by Art Nouveau aesthetics and pure Italian craftsmanship, they create a bridge between heritage and modernity.

Certain fragrances, such as Fiore d'Ulivo and Mefisto, continue to follow original formulas dating back more than a century. Other creations, including Bouquet Ideale, are contemporary interpretations of historic Casamorati compositions.

The Modern Spirit of Casamorati
With its entry into the 21st century, Casamorati embraced a contemporary dimension without losing its classic identity. Fragrances such as Casafutura, Dolce Amalfi and La Tosca blend inspiration from Casamorati's golden age with the most refined techniques of modern perfumery.

Each creation reflects a harmonious balance between heritage and innovation, uniting Italian romance with timeless luxury.

An Ode to the Past, Created for the Present
Casamorati perfumes are more than fragrance creations; they are a tribute to Italian perfumery from the Art Nouveau era. They demonstrate how the beauty of the past is brought back to life — not in opposition to innovation, but as a source of inspiration for the future.

Today, Casamorati is part of the Xerjoff Group and is internationally recognised as a symbol of timeless elegance, artistic expression and Italian luxury.
